More flood waters

The river has risen even more today even though it hasn't rained here. Must have rained upstream...

Enjoying the time off work. Lazy morning followed by a super river walk with Lottie dog who found many friends to bounce about with, then tea with B.

I've borrowed a DVD set of 'The Famous Five' TV series from the 70s from a friend who thought her 10 year old would like them but she turned her nose up at them. Too dated and not gritty (Tracey Beaker) enough for the youth of today it seems! I have been indulging in some nostalgia this evening. Funny how certain memories are triggered by old TV shows or music or smells....
