Moated Moment

Considered a couple of options for going away, but decided on just a day out, which meant we could have D and S with us as well.

Went to Baddesley Clinton - began with scones in their wonderful Barn, and then what was meant to be a 1 and a half hour walk across the fields. We should have guessed with all the rain yesterday, but it was mostly a muddy march - the two lads only had trainers on. I was impressed with everyone's cheerfulness, and definitely good to be out in the sunshine.

The house was lovely, still decorated for Christmas, and a log fire - it has such a friendly, homely feel about it.
