New calendar

I always take an unusual amount of pleasure filling in a new calendar, seeing the pages empty but hopefully filled with promise for a good year to come.
To avoid accusations of being an old git, I hasten to add I have my smart phone, and calendars that sync, and alerts that buzz me....but in terms of trying to get all members of the family (including the dog) roughly in the right place at the right time, you can't beat a kitchen calendar. And smart phones don't give me that thrill of turning the pages and marking down future dates on an empty page!
