Water water everywhere

I think we could all be building arks soon, it just won't stop raining! This time last year it was freezing snow, all the way into April, so I hope the rain won't follow. This is the River Wye in flood, at Holme Lacy, Herefordshire, after 24 hours of rain, with more forecast.

The Environment Agency have issued a flood warning for the area " At 8:30 pm today(Thursday); the level at the Mordiford Gauge was 4.84 metres and rising slowly. A peak level of between 4.9 and 5.2 metres is expected to occur tomorrow (Friday) morning."

What a start to the New Year...
