First Night festivities I

We made a last minute trip up to Boston for First Night. Arriving at midday the festivities commenced at 1pm. Ice sculpture gazing, ice skating spectating, street parading all punctuated by warm-up visits to numerous coffee houses and cup-cake shops. It was very cold. After a genuine pizza experience in Little Italy we made our way back to the hotel in time to get the lil miss off to sleep so we could begin the New Year countdown with a beverage or two....chilled of course.
