Snowcalypse now

Well the promised snow has arrived.

Here in mid town Manhattan it was certainly pretty chilly when we went out at around 7.45am for a walk and some breakfast. We made it up to the edges of Central Park, which is somewhere we should definitely explore in more detail tomorrow when the forecast is for sunshine. As far as we can see, the temperatures are starting to rise, and although the snow continues to fall, the city still seems to be moving, as far as we can see. Earlier, this is what it looked like from out of our window about about 5.45am.

Still it was fun to stand in the middle of 7th Avenue outside the Carnegie Hall and not be mowed down by traffic.

Blipping and running as I have a meeting in 5 mins, but just time to link again to my new project. I've got a picture for today. Well, pictures. Do you think it should be the view out of the hotel room or the bathroom?
