Greengrocer in Istanbul

This is where we buy our fruit on the roadside on the way home from work. All seasonal, all fresh, all Turkish. Note the persimmons in the distance ... where else are these a norm along with quince? Of course, times have changed and many things are in styrofoam but the majority are put in paper bags for the journey home.
I particularly like the effect of light bulbs which add a warm glow on a cool winter evening.
