End of Christmas.

The beginning of January is brightened by the Christmas decorations which are left up over New Year but then the time comes for them to be dismantled and it is always sad to see them go. Having been in South Africa one year at Christmas time I have experienced a completely different way of celebrating. Sunshine and sand are a very good substitute for snow and rain. I wonder how many people would vote for a summer Christmas if we were to propose a calender change. Imagine eating your turkey, sprouts and plum pud on the 25th July. Lets start the "Campaign for Christmas in Summer."
