The Cock Inn

Another fairly stormy day today, so I only ventured out as far as the post box in the village. I'm glad I don't have to go back to work after New Year like most people! This is one of our village pubs; the other is the Chequers and many years ago there used to be a third, the Castle. Considering the size of the village, it does well to keep two pubs going although one of them nearly closed a few years ago, and only a local campaign managed to keep it going.
