New year, new snow

Somebody has forgotten to tell the weather its summertime. You may just be able to see some new snow hidden beneath those clouds, since before Christmas there have been sunrises revealing fresh snowfall on The Remarkables, today it was still visible as the sun began descending again.

This is just the snowy icing on the wet cold summer cake!
