Impact

As predicted the South Coast was hit today by a huge storm which combined with a high tide produced a tidal surge which caused massive waves to hit the shore causing flooding in some areas.

The new sea defences at Ventnor were doing a magnificent job of holding back the water producing some spectacular explosions of foam. This is part of the car park at Ventnor, there were not many cars there today.
