Una Torta Interessante

Six of us spent a lovely evening at Sambuca restaurant courtesy of Lord and Lady Findhorn for a birthday celebration. Happy Birthday Sal!

As usual we had a fine meal and the place was very busy, though sadly the usual streams of celebrities were nowhere to be seen.

Afterwards it was a short trip back to the castle for coffee, cake and a right carry on. As Lady Findhorn is particularly fond of cakes, it was lovely to be treated to a home-baked one with coffee.

Baked by a servant? Oh no, certainly not.
Lady Findhorn, your cake, as they say, was rubbery.
