Damp......

Back to work.

Despite the rain and wind, I met up with another nanny and we took our charges out for a bracing walk down Cramond Shore.

Even though four out of the five children had complained beforehand about having to go for a walk along the shore, all of them happily played in the blustery weather, until such a point that everyone's fingers had turned numb with the cold and the early stages of hypothermia were beginning to set in.

It was then that we piled back into our cars and headed back to the warmth of the house to dry off and have some lunch.

It was a bit hairy watching the planes coming in to land over Cramond - I can only imagine what it felt for the poor folk inside them!
