Chilly Pops

Day 3 - It absolutely poured down this morning and around midday there was a slight glimpse of bright blue sky. So I decided to pack in work for the day and take the boys to Lydiard Park. How lovely you say, quite the contrary. For starters Bear (the nearly 6 year old) decided to shut the front door, locking us out side without the keys or car keys. Fortunately we have a key safe out the back. For some reason, it totally skipped my mind that Lydiard Park has a massive lake and everywhere is flooded! 
Bear and Pops had fun kicking the crunchy leaves.... until Pops lost his shoe in the leaves...Missing shoe eventually found and disaster, bar a wet sock, averted... until he fell in a big swamp of mud. 
Think we'll have a lazy day at home tomorrow!!
