Dreaming of holidays...

What better use for a day of heavy rain and winds gusting to gale force than to plan a holiday. It's actually the holiday that we had booked up last year but had to cancel last minute when Mr. WP's mum had a fall and broke her hip. At 91 that is not a good thing to happen and sadly we lost her. At least Mr WP was able to spend a few weeks with her.

So, here we are. Dreaming of warmth and sunshine and colourful birds heading north for the summer. What better place to watch them streaming through than Texas.

Flights are booked. Hire car is booked. First 9 days accommodation is booked, after that we'll wing it. Something to look forward to. The winter days won't seem so endlessly long and grey now :-)
