We Survived 2013

The first photograph I took of 2014 shows some of my pals celebrating an amazing feat. Presumably the cause for celebration is that they managed to not die for an entire year once again. Let's hope they keep up that streak! There's another round of birthday cards and other meaningless thrills in it for them if they do!

I am actually pleased with this photograph. I've never been great at soaking up a mood with a shot. There were a few others that captured the spirit of Beer Pong during the 2013 part of the party and a fantastic action shot of Tom Shack being hit in the face with jelly about an hour into 2014.
