Ancient trunk

One of those damp, very dark, January days!

As we parked the car by the Bluestone Ford I spotted this old beech trunk. It's beginning to rot and is infested with some sort of beetle, but the wood's full of interesting colours and shapes.

Mr M's been playing with his new bike, which was delivered yesterday...
