365: Bollard

Having decided to take an evening stroll along the promenade of Portobello Beach, Edinburgh, the most beautiful sunset appeared which reflected perfectly on an extremely high tide.

The bollards lining the promenade have always appealed to me and, although the paintwork is becoming flaky, they still have a wonderful, tactile, look to them.

After completing an afternoon performance today, I am now feeling perfectly calm and contented.
