Old Rope

Woke up with that back to reality post Christmas feeling. A walk along Whitby beach towards Saltwick Nab and past the old wreck soon put life back in perspective. I haven't walked along that way for years as its only accessible when the tide is right out. A grey overcast day. After all the recent storms, floods and exceptional high tides, all sorts has washed up on the beach. These ropes added a little colour to a monochrome beach.
