today we left a very wet Langdale, we had a wonderful time even though it has to be the wettest we have ever seen and that's going something when you are regular visitors to the Lakes.

After a nice swim and a late breakfast, I took this female chaffinch before we left. It was sat on the wall outside our main bedroom. Our New Year timeshare lodge is an upside down house with the bedrooms downstairs and the views upstairs !

I also watched the regular dipper swimming and diving in the stream but the light was so bad I couldn't get a decent shot

Its now all about getting back to normal, just taken the dec's down, thats a good start.
