The one that nearly got away!!

Horrid wet day ........ but at least we have been spared the tidal surge & flooding that has devastated parts of the country ...... we have been lucky!

My thoughts go out to all those affected ...... also to all those in the USA that are affected by the storms there.

Hubby had been put on standby for this evening to evacuate some of the properties along the riverside ....... however he was stood down ....... before he even made it to the bus depot ...... that area is now only on Flood Warning ...... not Severe as was believed.

Luckily this time we are only on Flood Alert! May it stay that way.

Caught sight of this Buzzard soaring above the treetops ....... unfortunately he decided to fly away from where we were standing! So I give you a distant back view ...... do hope you like it :-)
