Larry

Larry is a West Highland White Terrier we rescued last March. The only information we had was that he had been at a Town Shelter. We had him for two days when he got really sick and was diagnosed with pneumonia. Long story short, he spent 4 days in Intensive Care at the Animal Hospital.

He was extremely hyper and nervous at first. He would chase shadows all day and night never sitting still for any length of time. At night he would crawl around under the bed, chewed electric wires and we would have to put him in the cage. He would bark when we left him and we knew about it because the neighbors complained! We had to get an electronic device that makes a high pitched sound that dogs hear. It seems to be working because the neighbors are no longer complaining!

I am happy to say that he is much better! He sleeps during the day and night. If he hears a squeaky noise he runs around trying to find it but does calm down when he see there is nothing there. He is sweet and loving and I cannot imagine life without Larry!
