Aussie World!

This morning we decided to go to Aussie World which is a small theme park up here on the Sunshine Coast about 15 minutes from us! It isn't as big as the theme parks on the Gold Coast but it has quite a few rides for the little kids and doesn't have the massive lines that the big theme parks have!

We had such a great time! Joti was asleep for the first bit so we did what ever Spence wanted to do! Dodgem cars were good, spence won four stuffed animals in sideshow alley (with a bit of help from the girl running it!!). He went on another car ride then we went on a simulator ride together.

Joti was awake by this stage so we had a snack then went to the water play area then on a couple of the little kid rides. Spence was so lovely looking after Joti on them, making sure she didn't stand up!

We got some lunch then went on the simulator again then Joti and I went on a car ride then the four of us went on the Giant Slide together! It was hot today and the top of the slide was quite high up and we went down it about seven times! It was do much fun though! The kids had to be on the mat with us and we had races down to see who would win!

We were all hot and sweaty and exhausted by that time (we had been there 4 hours!) so we came home and got in the pool! My ear is getting better but not fully recovered so I still can't get it wet but I had a lovely time in the pool without my head going under! Spence's ear still isn't better either so he had to keep his head up!
