Lion dance competition

On our second day here in Penang we have been treated to an even more spectacular competion than yesterday.
In to-days competition each lion tells its own story, using props, a river or stream which the lion has to cross, a set of obstacles, normally a series of platforms of differing heights etc.
Each lion is two people, a strong one at the rear who does all the heavy lifting when the lion rears up on its hind legs and a lighter one in front who twitches the lion's eyes, eye lashes and even ears!
The 'dancers' have their own backing of drummers and cymbal players who synchronise with the lion's movements.
In one the lion caught and killed a snake, in another it was too frightened to cross the river and cringed in disgrace...
The judges watch every move, as you can see from the blip.
