Homeward Bound

The first leg of our journey home - it's a week since we crossed the nearer of the 2 bridges and there has been a great deal of excitement in that week!

Unfortunately the usual 3 hour journey took 5 hours - a big traffic jam on the A1 meant we detoured through the centre of Doncaster, then just heavy traffic all the way to Portishead. A bit of a slog really.

We popped in to see Grandad Tut's "new" home and spent a very pleasant hour with him and Joy. Then back to Nanny's for some present opening and tea!
