Something fishy...

Up and out early to benefit from the brighter part of the day. Headed across to Esholt Woods for an orienteering event run by Leeds club Aire. Enjoyed the 4km course but now have to deal with the rather muddy kit caused by various slithers down steep slopes. For once I managed to keep my concentration and did not make too many mistakes.

Did not spot any blip opportunities so headed back to Pickering for a dog walk. I spotted this fish yesterday lurking by the trout farm and as the light was beginning to fade grabbed the opportunity to snap it. Did try close up but preferred the longer shot with the reflection in the water.

Headed home to light the fire, sink into a hot bath and recover with a large mug of tea.
