The Sky Prior To The "Non-Event"

As high tide was about an hour after sunrise in Guernsey this morning, I had intended to go for an early stroll and capture a blip of the sun rising over the sea at Bordeaux Harbour. As it happened, there was no sight of the sun at the moment it rose ... In fact, when the sun did rise, the skies were just a dull grey, veiled in cloud cover.
However, about twenty minutes prior to the sun not making an appearance, this was the display it produced.
It could be said that my proposed plans for a blip this morning were somewhat unsuccessful ... LOL ... I personally think that I was damn lucky I left home for my stroll half an hour earlier than I'd originally intended ... :o)
