Family Time

Last week my wonderful hubby volunteered me to cook a Christmas roast for all his family...that's 8 adults, 2 kids and well I guess the 8 week old twin bubbas don't really count food wise..but that's still loads of mouths to feed.

So today I took the challenge on...up at 8:30 to prep...and at 3:00pm a 2kg turkey crown, a 2kg pork loin, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, brussels in maple syrup and bacon, cheeeeesy cauliflower cheese, baked stuffing and fresh homemade thick gravy later...dinner was served. Swiftly followed of course by a slab of chocolate cake with three different types of cream!!!

Can't beat that stuffed Sunday afternoon chatting with the family!!
