Saddest Day of Every Year

When you have to take down all of your Christmas decorations, it automatically becomes the saddest day of the year. No one in our house is more sad or upset by this event than our cat, Squiggles. While we were packing away the tree downstairs, she looked down on us with distain. The spot under the Christmas tree is her most favorite spot in the world. I anticipate getting the cold shoulder from her for the next few days until she decides of forgive us, or maybe just until it is time to feed her again...
