Back to school

Tomorrow is the first day back at school of 2014. The kid is excited and more than ready to get back into his routine. He's been fidgety and unsettled for the past day or so. I'm not so happy. It will be nice to get on with some work in peace and school days are my most productive times, but I'm really going to miss him. I'll miss our early morning snuggles in bed as we descend back into the school run madness. I'll miss watching films with him or being beaten by a mile on Mario Kart. I'll miss baking and crafts and reading marathons.
