The Front Deck

This is our beach house front deck. The canon is a replica of one from the Endevour which was Captain James Cooks ship, which came to the Coromandel to obseve the passing of Mercury. Hence out bay being called Cooks Beach and the wider harbour Mercury Bay. Our house is called Captain Cooks Landing on Captain Cooks Rd in Cooks Beach, so you can always remember who was notable here!
