I heard this morning that the road had partially collapsed into the sea at Tragumna, and that there was a huge swell going on so we set off to take a look.
The road going into Tragumna was submerged and we couldn't get near so had to go a long way round to get to the coast. We saw the sea first from the hilltop and it was breathtaking, white water out as far as we could see, and huge waves surging in.
Lower down it was deafening, roaring, massive waves crashing up over the headlands. We drove east, to Toe head beach, and then along to Sandy Cove where this was taken. I took so many pictures it was hard to choose one. None of them did it justice.
