herbs and light

my wife saw some fresh potted herbs at the store and brought them home. they instantly brought life into our kitchen ... because our kitchen faces the south, we get bathed with sunlight during the winter months (for which i am very thankful). something about the light and herbs reminded me of the soundtrack to one of our favorite movies, pride and prejudice.
