Glasgow busker

I was in Glasgow this afternoon and I saw this young man busking in Buchanan St. He had an amplifier with him and the sound reverberated throughout the street.


He’s Bora, a young Spanish university student, earning a bit of extra cash to help his studies. At the rate folk dropped money into his upturned guitar case he clearly had an appreciative audience.

In the background you can see a Police Box.

Now my Sound Challenge for today is a link to this Police Box, which I converted into an installation (“You have been spotted”) as part of my portfolio for entry into Glasgow School of Art.
