Quacking good ride

Headed out on the bike straight after lunch whilst the sun was still out. Having climbed up to Newton on Rawcliffe took a pit stop to watch the ducks.

They had just spotted a mum with young son heading round the far side of the pond. Not usually a problem as they had some bread to feed them. However, they were accompanied by a motley assortment of five dogs the largest of which was a St. Bernard. Needless to say the we're not for being enticed to the side.

Left the mum trying to persuade the youngster not to eat the stale bread! Memories of similar conversations I have had with my boys when they were a similar age.
