365/366

Officially this is my 365th blip; but I missed a day, August the 7th I think, so it's not been seamless; 365/366.

I must say Blipfoto has become an important part of my days and you, the Blippers, really have become important friends to me. I'm sure my photography has improved too.

Nathan and Emily think I should've had a Caterpillar cake to celebrate but here instead is a single candle which will soon snuff out. Counting the days reminded me of this poem by the (grumpy) Hull poet Phillip Larkin:

Days

What are days for?
Days are where we live.
They come, they wake us
Time and time over.
They are to be happy in:
Where can we live but days?

Ah, solving that question
Brings the priest and the doctor
In their long coats
Running over the fields.
