Daddy

After losing my lovely Dad in August 2012, I decided that I wanted to get a little tattoo in his memory.

My Dad was an art teacher for nearly 40 years, and was; of course an artist. He signed his paintings always in the right hand corner with a monogram of his initials, JRO (John Roy Oliver)

In June of last year, whilst on holiday in New York and in the East Village, I had his monogram tattoo'd on my left wrist, as if signing off one of his 'creations' :)

Amazing what great strength I have taken from this little bit of ink ♥
