Tracks

We are not the only creatures leaving tracks in the snow. Rabbit footprints abound, deer prints appear here and there, and then there are these. I think they are a fox, Mr. L. thinks they are a bobcat. What ever they are, it's a small creature, light on his feet, and with a penchant for bunny rabbits - we can tell this as the evidence of their scuffles are sometimes to be found in the snow. All the animals seem to like our ski tracks - they must think of them as magically appearing superhighways or something. We never actually see any of these creatures unfortunately - perhaps they only come out at night.

Much warmer today, but still below 0˚F. Ski tracks in reasonably good shape from Sunday although the wind had filled them in in places. Brilliant sunshine this morning, a pleasure to be out.
