Bullfinch

It is only in recent days that birds have returned to the garden to feed, presumably because the mild weather has meant there was a good natural supply of food available. A pair of Bullfinches have been visiting, sometimes fleetingly so todays blip was quickly snatched through the window. Just as well because heavy rain arrived soon after for most of the day - as if we needed more. Still, on the positive side I doubt we will suffer a hosepipe ban this year?
