Alien structure

Here's the latest structure on the seafront. The one on the right is supposed to be a sort of bandstand on one side and shelter on the sea-side. At the moment it looks quite odd. It will be interesting to see what it looks like when they finish. I think it is going to have a grass roof. One the left is what was supposed to be a kind a shelter that is part of the 'longest bench' hence the convoluted shape inside. It was a replacement for an old rather sad looking shelter but in actuality it doesn't shelter at all and poor holidaymakers caught in our frequent summer squalls have had nowhere to run to. Maybe this new structure will give some shelter from wind and rain - time will tell.
