Emsworth

Today I braved the windy weather and trudged around the perimeter of the MOD site on Thorney Island in West Sussex. The coastal footpath has taken a bit of a battering and all sorts of flotsam has washed up on the beach. Oddly I noted several flip flops that were all right footed. Why is it the right one gets lost. I did see a left footed football boot...not a football pitch in sight.

The picture was taken across the harbour looking at Emsworth in a brief respite from the rain. All in all it was a worthwhile walk apart from the very last part....I dropped into a small inn which is part of a marina there and could only afford a can of Coke as they didn't have a credit card facility.
