Crepuscular rays above Orton

I know I blipped these trees 4 weeks ago (is it really that long) but the sun made a brief appearance this morning, so I shot out for a while to make the most of it! I drove in the general direction of Orton, and saw these wonderful rays - sorry, just couldn't resist them.

My trusty Grads were - of course - needed, a 0.75 hard edged grad controlled the brightness of the sky, although there was still a fair bit of post processing needed to bring up the detail in the foreground.

I'll keep a close eye on this area over the next few days, as we're forecast snow on high ground.
