Striking!

Managed to get out for a quick walk at lunchtime - nothing more than round the block given lack of time and impending rain.

Just round the corner from where I work is / was a bowling alley (Strykers!). It has been unoccupied for a while, so I guess the news that it went up in flames over the festive period should not have come as a great surprise.

Will be interesting to revisit this site in 365 days to see what is in its place....
