Laundry.

There is a day that we all are ought to do our laundry. Well, today was
such a day.
The chances that you’ll be messing with the settings of the washing
machine, accidently watching others clothes or that it will be just another
routine visit to the laundry are quite high. It’s definitely not like in the
movies that it is a place where people start to converse about the world
and everything that surrounds it, where world problems are being solved or
the house wife that is desperate looks for someone who she can talk to.
Or that was what I thought it would be like until today.
I had the pleasure of meeting the astonishing Erasmus Mundus student KT (I
couldn’t pronunciate her name so Ka-tie was ok while her friends and
teachers can’t either) from Huế
in Vietnam in the laundry room of our dorm. She is studying linguistics in
the University of Brussels and was here to visit a friend and just do a
regular program on 60°. We ended up talking about the cultural differences
between Vietnamese and Belgians and their history, languages and their root, the family relationships and family murders in Belgium, Tintin and comics, as we did about Freud dreams and their miraculous, unravished meanings.
Contrary to the stereotype about laundries this was a very pleasant
experience. (see ‘Recommendation)
This way I hope that I’ll hold this moment as I felt on the very moment of
it so it won’t fade away too fast.

Just keep being yourself, because that’s one of the most beautiful things
you can do.

- Recommendation: For the ones that believe you should live each day as if
it is your last, which is why you don't have any clean laundry, because,
come on, who wants to wash clothes on the last day of their life: You should go more often to your local laundry, preferably an ecological one if available.
