Catching……….

………..the Light

I was back visiting The Kumaras late this afternoon – this time I am looking towards the Motueka Sandspit Scenic Reserves. This reserve is an internationally recognised site for local and migrant shorebirds.

Black rain clouds form the backdrop, but the sun burst through to light the beach and the incoming tide.

And yes, it started raining as I returned to the car park.

As I write this, it is 7.55pm and the sun is shining again!
