Had the fun of doing this shoot for a client.

Everyone was wondering who's finger I would use. Nope!! A Macro shot of a finger really will not look elegant.

I used a legacy Nikkor 105mm f2.5 with 22mm of extension tubes, all of which are from the '80s and do not talk to the D5000. I have to shoot on manual and of course focus is manual. The mat glass in the viewfinder does not have a focusing raster so it is very difficult to see if you are really in focus, so I whip the card out and download the image to my laptop and check out the results. I refer to this as "remote tethering".
