No skating today

The balmy winter weather continues. It's plus 5C in Moscow today and ice in the Patriarshiye Pond has thawed preventing any skating. Although there has been only one pond for the past 200 years, the name of a neighborhood street, Tryokhprudny Pereulok (lit. Three-Pond Lane), suggests there used to be more.
