SNOW!!!! At last....

I wandered out of my interior office today and saw the world had gone white. I was so happy, and interestingly enough, nearly everyone I met was also very happy. Even people who don't worship the winter as I do have felt that this long period of +temperatures and rain and no snow was weird and unnatural.
The thermometer has sunk to zero C and according to the forecast it's going to be minus temperatures for the next 10 days. There may not be much snow yet but it seems unlikely to melt and a bit more is soon on the way. Wonderful!
Maybe we can get the X-country skis out soon...
