First photo of the day - the joy of Nottingham airport at 8.15

Second photo of the day - blurry shot of the cooling towers at the power station taken from the taxi while the rather creepy-looking taxi driver (who looked disapproving when he came to find me at the airport and discovered that I was on my phone) spooled out anecdote after anecdote about gilding and great taxi jobs he'd had. The fact that he looked like Jimmy Savillle didn't cheer me much.

Third photo - from the terrace of Nottingham Castle just before I tripped on a floodlight and nearly tipped headlong over the wall and to my certain death on the rock below.
