Detour

Calton Hill, Edinburgh, this morning. There's lots of names for this silly half-finished monument thingy but whatever it was (a war monument that ran out of funding nearly 200 years ago) it's prominent on the skyline and popular with asian tourists - them and me up there today in the clear, cold morning.

And so to work, and home again early, and a new telly arrived, and the children are excited, and the children are not for sleeping. Ah well, half day tomorrow!
